A wheelchair can be self-propelled or pushed by a companion and is suitable for individuals with limited or no ability to walk who have enough upper-body strength to operate it. Wheelchairs must be folded to fit through standard cruise cabin doorways.
A transport chair is similar but must be pushed by a companion, as it cannot be self-propelled. It’s ideal for individuals who have difficulty walking and lack the upper-body strength to use a standard wheelchair.

A mobility scooter is a battery-powered chair mounted on a three- or four-wheel platform and steered using handlebars. It’s a popular option for individuals who have difficulty walking long distances or keeping pace with others. Scooters can also be used by travelers with limited mobility, provided they have the use of at least one hand to operate the controls.

A power chair is a battery-powered wheelchair controlled by a joystick. It’s recommended for individuals who are experienced with powered mobility devices, as it can be more challenging to maneuver. Power chairs are suitable for travelers who are unable to walk or have very limited mobility, as they require the use of only one hand to operate.

Oxygen options include cylinders, portable oxygen concentrators (POCs), liquid oxygen, and oxygen concentrators. These are designed for individuals who require oxygen therapy at levels higher than what is available in ambient air. A valid medical prescription is required for all oxygen equipment orders.
A walker is a walking aid designed to provide support while walking. It’s helpful for individuals who need extra assistance to maintain balance and stability.

A rollator is a four-wheeled walking aid with hand brakes and a built-in seat, ideal for individuals with balance or walking difficulties and for resting when needed.
A knee scooter is an alternative to crutches for non-weight-bearing leg or foot injuries, featuring hand brakes and an adjustable knee platform.

We provide special needs beds and bedroom equipment for adults and children, including hospital beds, adjustable beds, lift chairs, recliners, and baby cribs. All equipment is cleaned and tested before use, with special requests accommodated when possible to ensure a safe and comfortable stay.
A patient lift (6-point) helps safely lift and transfer an individual with minimal effort and added stability. It’s designed for travelers who require assistance with transfers. Guests must provide their own sling and/or chains. Weight capacity is up to 400 lbs.
JoB
The Joy on the Beach (JoB) is a lightweight, corrosion-resistant beach wheelchair designed for easy access to sand and water. Its balloon wheels glide smoothly from the beach into open water or swimming pools, allowing for swimming and water activities without the need for a traditional pool lift. The JoB folds easily for transport and storage.
