Whether you’re saying “I do,” celebrating your honeymoon, renewing your vows, marking another anniversary, or simply stealing away together, Princess Cruises has been bringing romance to the sea for decades—and your love story can be part of it.
From weddings at sea and intimate vow renewals to romantic dining, relaxing spa experiences, celebrations, and unforgettable destinations, I’ll help you create a Princess getaway that gives you plenty of reasons to fall in love with the journey—and each other—all over again.
There’s something pretty special about exchanging vows with the ocean surrounding you—and Princess has been making love stories part of life at sea for decades.
With Princess Perfect Weddings, couples can choose from three At-Sea wedding experiences designed for everything from an intimate ceremony with just a few loved ones to a larger celebration complete with a reception.
Princess wedding ceremonies can take place in beautiful indoor or outdoor locations onboard, with the ship’s Captain performing the ceremony and dedicated wedding coordination provided both before your cruise and onboard.
Fresh florals, wedding cake, sparkling wine, professional photography, romantic extras, and other special touches are included depending on the package you choose—giving you a beautiful foundation while still allowing your celebration to feel like your own.
Good to Know: Princess currently offers all three At-Sea wedding packages as either legal or symbolic ceremonies. Legal weddings require the applicable marriage-license process and documentation, while symbolic ceremonies give you the wedding experience without creating a legal marriage.
Whether you picture something intimate with only your closest people or want the ceremony and reception wrapped into one celebration, Princess offers three different ways to say “I do” at sea.

Make the Question as Unforgettable as the Answer
You’ve got the ring. Princess can help with the moment.
Princess Perfect Proposals creates a romantic setting for popping one very important question at sea, with special touches designed to turn your proposal into a memory you’ll both be telling for years.
Whether you want something intimate and private or a moment worthy of a little extra celebration afterward, we can help you explore the available Princess proposal experience and build the cruise around it.
Perfect For: Surprise proposals, engagements at sea, milestone vacations—or anyone ready to finally ask, “Will you marry me?”
Good to Know: Proposal experiences, inclusions, locations, timing, pricing, and availability vary and should be confirmed for your specific sailing.
Because the Celebration Shouldn’t End at “I Do”
Already married? Perfect. Princess gives you plenty of ways to turn an ordinary cruise into something much more romantic.
Celebrate your honeymoon, anniversary, or just the fact that you managed to escape real life together with specialty dining, spa time, Champagne, romantic stateroom surprises, beautiful destinations, and plenty of time for two.
Perfect For: Honeymoons, anniversaries, romantic getaways, birthdays for two, or couples who don’t need a special occasion to celebrate each other.
Good to Know: Available romantic experiences and packages vary by ship and sailing, so we’ll match the extras to your particular cruise.
The Details Turn a Wedding Into Your Wedding
Your Princess wedding already gives you a beautiful foundation, but the details are where your personalities get to come through.
From what you eat and drink to the music playing, the photographs you take home, and the way you celebrate with your guests, Princess Perfect Weddings offers additional options to help personalize your day.
Whether you're planning an intimate ceremony or turning your sailing into a full celebration with family and friends, we'll help you explore the available enhancements and create an experience that feels like the two of you.
Turn Dinner Into Part of the Celebration
Keep the celebration going after the ceremony with dinner together aboard Princess. Couples can request a complimentary group reservation in the Main Dining Room, choose from available specialty restaurants, or—if you’re planning something bigger—even explore a partial or full specialty-restaurant buyout for a more private celebration with family and friends.
Depending on your ship, specialty options may include Crown Grill, Sabatini’s Trattoria, The Catch by Rudi, The Butcher’s Block by Dario, UMAI Teppanyaki, Makoto Ocean, Love by Britto, and other available venues.
Perfect For: Wedding dinners, family celebrations, private receptions, or couples who want everyone gathered around the same table after the ceremony.
Good to Know: Princess Perfect Weddings currently handles dinner reservations only through this program—not breakfast or lunch. Restaurant availability, capacity and pricing vary by ship, and all requests require confirmation from the weddings team. Princess Premier® specialty meals cannot be applied to reservations arranged through the weddings team.
Raise a Glass & Keep the Celebration Going
Keep everyone together after the ceremony with a dedicated Princess cocktail hour featuring drinks, conversation, and—if you choose—an assortment of hot and cold appetizers.
Princess currently offers several styles of cocktail-hour service, including standard-brand and premium-brand open bars, Champagne service, and non-alcoholic beverage options. Each can be paired with appetizers, giving you flexibility to create something that fits both your celebration and your guests.
Perfect For: Post-ceremony celebrations, welcome gatherings, receptions, mingling with guests, or adding a little more party between the vows and dinner.
Good to Know: Cocktail-hour packages are currently priced per person for one hour of service and require a minimum of 10 guests. Current displayed pricing includes an 18% gratuity, and selections, brands, menus, pricing, and availability are subject to change.
Build a Spread Your Guests Will Actually Want to Eat
Add something delicious to your cocktail hour, reception, or wedding gathering with Princess’s selection of small bites and food stations.
Current choices range from vegetable spring rolls, chilled shrimp, lobster pockets, beef sliders, premium cold canapés, fresh fruit, and chocolate-dipped strawberries to more substantial options like a Pasta Station or Carving Station with Pasta.
Perfect For: Cocktail hours, casual receptions, pre-dinner gatherings, late-afternoon celebrations, or couples who want to give guests something more substantial without planning another full sit-down meal.
Good to Know: Items are priced differently depending on the selection—some individually, some by platter or order, and some per person. Several platters currently serve approximately 15 guests, while the Pasta and Carving Stations require a minimum of 10 people and include one hour of service. Current displayed pricing includes an 18% gratuity and is subject to change.
Give Your Love Story a Soundtrack
From walking down the aisle to celebrating afterward, the right music can completely change the atmosphere of your wedding day.
Princess Perfect Weddings currently offers several live entertainment options, including a solo musician, professional vocalist with accompanist, live DJ, and instrumental musical group. A/V and microphone setup with a technician is also available for couples bringing their own entertainment aboard.
Perfect For: Ceremony entrances, cocktail hours, receptions, first dances, romantic moments, and couples who want music to be part of the celebration rather than just playing in the background.
Good to Know: Entertainment should currently be requested at least 60 days before sailing and requires a confirmed venue based on your guest count. Specific performers and entertainment options vary by ship and availability.
Capture Every “I Do,” Kiss & Happy Tear
Your wedding day will fly by, but the photos let you keep coming back to it.
Princess Perfect Weddings packages already include different levels of professional photography, and couples who want even more coverage can purchase additional onboard wedding photography collections. Current options range from smaller collections of digital images to extensive packages designed to capture much more of the celebration.
Perfect For: Ceremony photos, couple portraits, wedding-party and family pictures, romantic shots around the ship, and couples who want more memories captured than their wedding package already includes.
Good to Know: Additional wedding, vow-renewal, and proposal photography collections can currently be purchased only once onboard and are charged to the guest’s onboard folio. Photography already included in your Princess Perfect Weddings package remains included; any additional photo services or purchases are separate. Photography purchases cannot be combined with or included in Princess Plus® or Princess Premier® packages.
Handle the Paperwork Beyond “I Do”
For couples choosing a legal Princess wedding at sea, there may be additional documentation you need after the ceremony—especially if your marriage certificate will be used for official purposes outside the jurisdiction where the marriage was registered.
Princess Perfect Weddings currently offers additional legal-document services including an Apostille and the option to order an additional copy of your legal marriage license.
Perfect For: Couples having a legal wedding at sea who need additional certified documentation, an extra marriage-license copy, or an Apostille for official use.
Good to Know: Not every couple will need an Apostille. The documents required depend on where you live and how or where your marriage documentation will be used, so legal requirements should be confirmed for your individual circumstances.
You don't have to add everything just because it's available. Choose the details that actually matter to the two of you and build from there.
That’s where I come in. I’ll help you choose the Princess cruise, staterooms, itinerary, and group-travel arrangements that fit your celebration while Princess Perfect Weddings handles the wedding-specific planning and coordination.
Not every love story calls for the same kind of wedding. Maybe you want to keep it intimate, bring your favorite people along, turn the whole thing into a reception at sea, or celebrate a marriage that’s already written a few chapters.
Princess gives you several ways to make it happen.
Here are a few ways your Princess celebration could come together.
Keep It Intimate
Perfect Pair Wedding
Perfect For: Couples who want the romance of a Captain-led wedding at sea without turning it into a large event.
Celebration Idea:
Captain-Led Ceremony + Fresh Florals + Wedding Cake & Sparkling Wine + Professional Photography + Romantic Breakfast for Two + Stateroom Surprises
Why It Works:
Perfect Pair keeps the guest list small—the couple plus up to two guests—while still including many of the signature touches that make a Princess wedding feel special.
Make It Even More Special:
Add a romantic specialty dinner after the ceremony, extra photography around the ship, or simply disappear together afterward and enjoy being newlyweds aboard The Love Boat®.
Celebrate With Your Favorite People
Timeless Ceremony at Sea
Perfect For: Couples who want a traditional wedding-at-sea experience with a small circle of family and friends.
Celebration Idea:
Captain-Led Ceremony + Live Music + Fresh Florals + Cake & Sparkling Wine Toast + Professional Photography + Cocktail Hour or Dinner Together
Why It Works:
With the couple plus up to eight guests included, Timeless Ceremony at Sea gives you enough room to share the moment while keeping the ceremony intimate and focused on the two of you.
Make It Even More Special:
Follow the ceremony with cocktails and small bites, arrange dinner together, add extra photography, or choose additional live entertainment for the celebration.
Make a Day of It
Timeless Wedding at Sea
Perfect For: Couples who want the vows, the reception, and the celebration wrapped into one Princess wedding experience.
Celebration Idea:
Captain-Led Ceremony + Live Music + Wedding-Party Florals + Private Reception + Good Spirits Welcome Cocktails + Two-Tier Wedding Cake + Sparkling Wine Toast + Professional Photography
Why It Works:
This is Princess’s most complete At-Sea wedding experience, combining the ceremony with a dedicated reception for the couple and up to 18 guests. You get more photography, more florals, salon services, reception time, and plenty of reasons to keep celebrating after “I do.”
Make It Even More Special:
Add small bites, expand your cocktail experience, arrange a group dinner, explore a specialty-restaurant buyout, or turn the sailing itself into a full group vacation with everyone you love.
Say “I Do” Again
Renew the Love
Perfect For: Anniversaries, milestone years, or married couples who would choose each other all over again.
Celebration Idea:
Captain-Led Symbolic Vow Renewal + Fresh Florals + Cake & Sparkling Wine + Professional Photography + Romantic Stateroom Touches + Dinner for Two
Why It Works:
You already handled the marriage part. This time, you get to focus on celebrating everything that happened afterward.
Invite a few loved ones or keep the moment between the two of you and renew your vows somewhere completely different from where your story began.
Make It Even More Special:
Add extra photography, specialty dining, Champagne, spa time, or plan the renewal around a destination you’ve always wanted to experience together.
Haven’t Said “I Do” Yet?
Princess Perfect Proposals
Perfect For: Surprise proposals, romantic engagements at sea, and couples about to begin the next chapter of their story.
Celebration Idea:
The Perfect Setting + One Very Important Question + Professional Photography + Champagne + Romantic Dinner + An Entire Cruise to Celebrate the Answer
Why It Works:
The proposal doesn’t have to be squeezed into an ordinary vacation. Princess can help make the moment itself part of the experience, while the rest of your sailing becomes your first celebration as an engaged couple.
Make It Even More Special:
Plan dinner afterward, add photography to capture the moment, arrange a romantic surprise,
…or invite family and friends along while keeping the big surprise under wraps.
Your Love Story Doesn’t Have to Look Like Anyone Else’s
These ideas are meant for inspiration—not additional pre-built Princess wedding packages. Available venues, dining, cocktails, small bites, entertainment, photography, legal services, enhancements, pricing, and guest capacity depend on your selected package, ship, sailing, and availability.
That’s where I come in. I’ll help you choose the Princess cruise, itinerary, staterooms, and group arrangements that fit your celebration while Princess Perfect Weddings handles the wedding-specific planning and coordination.
Whether you’re planning the first “I do,” saying it all over again, or getting ready to ask the question that starts everything, we’ll build the cruise around your story—not somebody else’s idea of what it should look like.
Everything You Need to Know Before Saying “I Do” at Sea
Are Princess weddings legal or symbolic?
Princess offers both legal and symbolic At-Sea wedding ceremonies. Legal At-Sea ceremonies are performed by the ship’s Captain in international waters under Bermuda law. Symbolic ceremonies offer the celebration without creating a legal marriage.
Who performs the wedding ceremony?
At-Sea wedding ceremonies are performed by the ship’s Captain, giving couples the classic Princess wedding-at-sea experience.
When will we know our ceremony time and location?
Princess Perfect Weddings will work with you to confirm your ceremony arrangements. Current At-Sea ceremony times are generally 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:00 PM, or 3:30 PM, subject to availability and the ship’s itinerary. Specific venue requests can be made but are not guaranteed.
When do we pay for the wedding?
The wedding package is due in full when the wedding is booked. Additional wedding options and enhancements must currently be selected and paid in full no later than 60 days before sailing.
How far in advance should we plan our Princess wedding?
Planning earlier gives you the best opportunity for your preferred options. Princess requires wedding selections and enhancements to be finalized at least 60 days before sailing. Weddings may occasionally be accepted within 60 days based on availability, but Princess currently charges a $250 late-booking fee when applicable.
Who helps us plan everything?
Before sailing, you'll work with a Princess Perfect Weddings shoreside coordinator on your ceremony and reception arrangements. Once onboard, the ship’s Events & Guest Services Supervisor becomes your onboard wedding-event coordinator and reviews the wedding details with you.
Can we personalize our ceremony and reception?
Yes. Depending on your package, ship and itinerary, Princess offers additional options such as dining, cocktail hours, small bites, live music, photography and legal extras. Available selections must currently be finalized at least 60 days before sailing.
Can we bring our own decorations?
Small personal decorations may be permitted as long as they do not damage the ceremony venue or its furnishings. Couples should discuss anything they plan to bring with their Princess Perfect Weddings coordinator beforehand.
Can we bring our own photographer, florist, cake or entertainment?
Generally, outside professional wedding services are not permitted, including outside photography, videography, entertainment, cakes, beverages and fresh flowers. Special requests may be considered by Princess Perfect Weddings and Princess on a case-by-case basis.
When will we receive our official marriage certificate?
Princess currently advises allowing approximately 12–16 weeks for a certified marriage-certificate copy to arrive after the wedding, or approximately 12–18 weeks for international mailings. The keepsake certificate received onboard is not the official legal marriage certificate.
What is an Apostille, and will we need one?
An Apostille authenticates the Bermuda marriage certificate for certain official international uses. Whether you need one depends on where you live and how your marriage documentation will be used. Princess currently notes that couples residing in places such as Europe, Australia and New Zealand commonly require one.
Do we receive priority boarding?
Embarkation-day wedding couples receive priority boarding. Priority boarding does not currently apply to At-Sea or Ashore wedding options.
Can non-sailing guests attend an embarkation-day wedding?
When non-sailing guests are permitted for the applicable wedding arrangements, Princess requires identifying information including each guest's name, date of birth, nationality and valid driver's license or passport information so they can be cleared to board.
What should we know about bringing wedding items onboard?
For an embarkation-day wedding, you and your guests should carry wedding items onboard rather than placing them in checked luggage, since checked bags may not reach your stateroom before the ceremony. Port customs also prohibit bringing certain items aboard, including fresh food, meats, flowers and plants.
Does Princess perform same-sex weddings at sea?
Princess's current FAQ states that Bermuda law does not permit same-sex legal ceremonies onboard while at sea, although Princess welcomes symbolic ceremonies and its wedding coordinators can help couples explore options that comply with the applicable jurisdiction, including possible ashore arrangements.
What happens if the itinerary affects our wedding?
Cruise itineraries and ship operations can change. If circumstances require the wedding date, time or venue to change, Princess Perfect Weddings and Princess will work with the couple to identify an alternative arrangement. Their full wedding agreement governs cancellations, refunds and circumstances beyond their control.
Can DreamCrafters Travels plan my Princess wedding?
DreamCrafters Travels can help plan the cruise side of your celebration, including selecting your sailing, itinerary and staterooms and coordinating travel for family and friends.
Your Princess Perfect Weddings team handles the wedding-specific arrangements, including ceremony planning, wedding enhancements, legal documentation and onboard wedding coordination.
Prices shown are based on current Princess Perfect Weddings information and are subject to change. Wedding package inclusions, additional-guest charges, ceremony and reception locations, dining and cocktail options, small bites, photography services, floral arrangements, live music and entertainment, legal services, and other enhancements may vary by ship, sailing, itinerary, package selected, and availability. Legal weddings are subject to applicable marriage-license, documentation, and jurisdictional requirements, while symbolic ceremonies do not create a legal marriage. Outside professional wedding services are generally not permitted except where specifically approved by Princess. Final pricing, package inclusions, ceremony arrangements, guest capacity, legal requirements, enhancements, and availability should always be confirmed with Princess Perfect Weddings during the planning process.
