With adults-only ships, elevated dining, gorgeous spaces, late-night entertainment, relaxing sea days, and destinations worth getting off the ship for, Virgin creates the backdrop — you bring the love story.

And because no two couples celebrate the same way, DreamCrafters Travels can help you explore the available celebration options, choose the right voyage and accommodations, coordinate your cruise plans, and turn your getaway into something worth celebrating long after you’re back on land.

Wedding package pricing — Good to Know

Wedding packages starting at $4,000, $5,000, and $8,000, respectively. Cruise fares, optional enhancements, and additional services are separate. Final pricing and availability are subject to confirmation with Virgin Voyages.

The Little Details? Already Thought Of.
From planning before you sail to champagne after the vows, Virgin takes care of more than just the ceremony.

A wedding at sea should feel like a celebration — not a list of things you have to chase down once you board. Virgin Voyages builds thoughtful touches into its wedding experiences before and during your sailing, helping couples spend less time managing logistics and more time actually enjoying the moment.

Depending on the wedding tier selected, your experience may include:

  • Dedicated Pre-Voyage Wedding Specialist — assistance with planning before you ever step aboard.
  • Pre-Voyage Dining Assistance — help coordinating dining for the night of your ceremony.
  • Priority Check-In & Boarding — priority arrival for the celebrating couple.
  • Onboard Wedding Coordinator — support from Virgin’s onboard Groups Manager once you sail.
  • Ceremony Attire Steaming — one less wedding-day detail to worry about.
  • Beauty Appointments — treatments for the celebrating couple.
  • Private Ceremony Venue — a dedicated setting for your vows.
  • Officiant — your ceremony is led by the Captain or a ship’s officer.
  • Ceremony Décor & Recorded Music — the foundation for setting the scene.
  • Moët & Chandon Toast — because obviously we’re celebrating.
  • Wedding Cake — something sweet after the “I do.”
  • Basic Florals — bouquet and boutonniere options, with selections available for same-sex couples.
  • Onboard Credit — select packages include credit to enjoy during your voyage.

GOOD TO KNOW

Inclusions vary by wedding tier, so not every item above should be assumed to be included with every celebration. Final inclusions, availability, and arrangements should be confirmed for your specific wedding package and sailing.

VIRGIN VOYAGES WEDDING FAQ

Questions? Let’s Get Those Out of the Way.

Because planning a wedding at sea already comes with enough questions.

A Virgin Voyages wedding is a little different from a traditional wedding on land — and that’s kind of the point. But before you start picturing the dress, the champagne, and that ocean backdrop, there are a few things worth knowing about how the wedding experience works.

Are Virgin Voyages weddings legally binding?

Virgin Voyages wedding ceremonies are symbolic ceremonies rather than legal marriages. Couples who want to be legally married will need to complete the appropriate legal marriage requirements separately.

How many guests can attend?

That depends on the wedding experience you choose.

You, Me, and the Sea is designed for the couple only.

Soulmates Set Sail includes the couple plus up to four guests.

Wedding on the Waves accommodates celebrations of up to 50 guests.

Do my wedding guests need to sail with us?

Virgin’s weddings take place during the voyage, so wedding guests participating in the onboard celebration should be booked on the sailing. Unlike a traditional embarkation-day wedding program that may permit non-sailing guests, this is designed as a celebration shared with the people cruising alongside you.

Is the cruise fare included in the wedding package?

No. Your wedding package and cruise accommodations are separate purchases. The wedding package covers the applicable wedding experience and inclusions, while your voyage fare covers your cabin and cruise.

The same applies to your guests — their cruise reservations are separate from your wedding package.

Who performs the ceremony?

Virgin states that intimate wedding ceremonies may be officiated by the Captain or a ship’s officer, depending on the wedding arrangements.

Can we choose where the ceremony takes place?

Virgin offers several onboard wedding settings, including The Perch, The Scene, and The Wake. Venue availability can depend on your sailing, celebration size, ship operations, and other scheduling considerations, so your preferred location should be requested rather than assumed.

What happens if we choose an outdoor ceremony and the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Outdoor spaces such as The Perch are naturally affected by weather and sailing conditions. Final ceremony arrangements may need to change when conditions make an outdoor event impractical or unsafe.

That ocean backdrop is gorgeous — but unfortunately, nobody gets to boss around Mother Nature.

Can we personalize our wedding?

Yes. Virgin offers choices and enhancements that can help personalize the celebration, including floral styles, cake selections, ceremony music, live-music options, and spa and beauty experiences.

Available choices, upgrades, pricing, and arrangements should be finalized with your Wedding Specialist.

Can we choose our own ceremony music?

Virgin’s wedding materials include suggested ceremony music styles such as Pop, Instrumental, and Soulful, and couples may also provide their own music selections.

Live-music enhancements may also be available if you want to take things beyond a recorded soundtrack.

Is a wedding cake included?

Yes. Virgin's wedding experiences include a wedding cake, with selections for cake design, flavor, filling, and additional finishing touches.

Selections are subject to availability and should be confirmed during planning.

How far in advance should we book?

Virgin Voyages requires wedding packages to be booked at least 90 days before sailing for You, Me, and the Sea and Soulmates Set Sail, or at least 120 days before sailing for Wedding on the Waves.

Wedding planning ideally begins approximately 150 days before your celebration to allow time for dining requests, ceremony arrangements, and optional enhancements.

Wedding packages and add-ons are non-refundable upon purchase. Cruise accommodations are subject to Virgin Voyages' separate cancellation policy. All booking deadlines, payment requirements, and cancellation terms should be confirmed before purchasing your wedding package.

Can we bring a larger group?

Absolutely. If you're bringing a larger wedding crew, your guests’ cruise reservations can be coordinated as a group while your wedding package is planned separately.

That’s also where DreamCrafters Travels comes in — I can help with the cruise-booking side of the group so you aren't spending the months before your wedding answering everybody's cabin, payment, and sailing questions.

Is Virgin Voyages adults-only?

Yes. Virgin Voyages is an adults-only cruise line for Sailors 18 and older, which is especially important to consider when building your wedding guest list.

What happens after we decide we want a Virgin wedding?

That’s when we start putting the pieces together: the sailing, your cabin, wedding experience, guest travel plans, and important planning deadlines.

You don’t need to have every detail figured out before reaching out. We can start with what you know and build from there.

Good to Know: Wedding packages, inclusions, prices, venues, guest capacities, enhancements, timelines, group benefits, and availability are subject to change and may vary by sailing. Final wedding arrangements and wedding-specific requirements are confirmed with Virgin Voyages during the planning process.
